Garden lime is ideal for breaking down heavy clay soils to improve drainage and promote strong root growth. It also counteracts high soil acidity to encourage healthy plant growth and enables a wider range of plants to grow successfully. Use as a late Autumn or Winter application onto frost-free beds, borders and vegetable plot soil.

Vermiculite is a naturally occurring non-toxic mineral heated to high temperatures to produce lightweight highly absorbent flakes. Retaining both water and nutrients, it releases them as required to encourage faster seed germination and establishment.

Suitable for direct sowing of seeds of all sizes, it is particularly beneficial to very small seeds which will be well insulated against fluctuating.
