We are very sad to report the death of Andrew Barrow who passed away on 2nd January 2023 following a short illness. Andrew was one of the longest serving members of the association, but most will know him from his participation in our annual shows over many years. He was a regular exhibitor and prolific prizewinner in both our Spring and Autumn shows for both flowers and pot plants. He was an officer on our committee from 1998 to 2005 and held a number of roles including Chairman, Stores manager and membership secretary. He was president of the High Wycombe Dahlia Society and exhibited his superb dahlia entries in other local and national flower shows. He was always generous with his advice and happy to pass on his knowledge and expertise to other exhibitors. He was an ardent supporter of the association and his death is a sad loss.
